Cookie Policy
The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in.
Version 1.3 · last updated 2 October 2026
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We use the fewest we can: enough to keep a signed-in session working and to keep it secure. We set no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no cross-site trackers, so there is no consent banner to click through — there is nothing optional to consent to.
What is stored
| What | Kind | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
Session cookies set by our authentication provider, with names beginning sb- | Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in across page loads and refresh the session securely. They are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite-limited. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
A theme preference stored in your browser under tb-theme | Preference, stored in local storage rather than a cookie | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It never leaves your browser and we cannot read it. | Until you clear your browser storage |
The marketing pages at topbilling.in set no cookies at all. Nothing on this site is shared with an advertising network.
Third-party pages
When you pay, the payment is completed on our payment gateway's own pages, which set their own cookies under their own policy. We do not control those; they are described in the gateway's policy, linked at checkout.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing in again, because there would be nothing to carry your session — the marketing pages and the documentation will keep working.
